The ECO4 Scheme?

The Energy Company Obligation 4 (ECO 4) scheme represents the latest governmental initiative aimed at bolstering energy efficiency in homes throughout the United Kingdom.

Launched in April 2022, ECO 4 serves as the fourth installment in a series of governmental initiatives that commenced in 2013. The preceding ECO 3 scheme concluded in March 2022.

One notable issue is that combi boilers may struggle to meet high water demand in a household simultaneously. When multiple individuals are showering in different bathrooms, you may notice a decrease in water pressure. This is because combi boilers lack a backup tank, unlike conventional boilers, to meet high water demand.
